Advice and answers from the DevIT Team help center

During work with a store you install different apps, that increase its functionality. These apps can create some additional dynamic content on the pages. For example, it can be chats, banners, counters, etc.

You can use Dynamic Translation functionality. There are three levels of translation. Each one can be enabled or disabled in the settings.

To make text dynamic translation follow next steps:

  1. Press "Add new" button at the bottom of the section.

  2. Fill in all fields in opened form and press "Add" button for adding new translation field.

    • Previous char - you need to specify which character (not space) precedes the original text in the HTML markup.

    • Original text - text for translation.

    • Next char - you need to specify which character (not space) is located after the original text in the HTML markup.

  3. Now you can translate this custom field per any language.

  4. Press the "Save" button.

Use {{custom}} construction for skipping any chars or words if needed. E.g. Hello {{custom}}! will be matched as Hello World! in the example block, but only word "Hello" will be translated.

Note. Dynamic translation provides global and template translation.
